Laughing HI!

For those who wish to learn more about AUTOGRASS CAR RACING and, in particular, LEEWOOD MOTOR CLUB, then please take a look at our website:

www.leewoodautograss.co.uk

There you will find all the basic information including contact numbers, photos and forum. Do not hesitate to ask anything you need to know as we are all friendly and very helpful.

Our racetrack is situated at:
CASTLE HILL FARM
ASHLEY
Nr. WILMSLOW
CHESHIRE
WA15 ORD....

which can be found by taking J6 off the M56, then the A538 towards Wilmslow. The track is signposted off this road.

Racing starts 11am and has to finish by 5pm..(yes, we have a "curfew" too!)

Admission is: £6 adults, £3 concessions, children under 16 FREE

Remaining fixtures this season:-

Sunday 23rd September 2007
Sunday 7th October 2007

As our sport is always dependant on the weather, it is best if you check before travelling by phoning our event line: 07817 929887

Hope to see you at an autograss meeting soon.

Thanks for your attention,

GED REEK (P.R.O./Commentator, LEEWOOD MOTOR CLUB)

PostSubject: GRASS TRACK CARS AT BUXTON 2nd DECEMBER   Mon Oct 29, 2007 8:55 am

Laughing HI!

If you wish to see some autograss cars up close, please come along to the Startrax Promoted mixed formula meeting at BUXTON RACEWAY ON 2nd DECEMBER from 11am.

Although they will be racing, it will not be under the sanction of NASA, so rules are relaxed and the boys and girls will be racing for fun.

If last years' event is anything to go by, it should be a corker!

For those that havent seen any of the Motorbike or big block powered grass track cars, but know where Buxton track is, its well worth it. I raced at this last year, but spent some time watching the grasstrackers and looking at them in the pits. Some very interesting vehicles, and a lot of fun to watch them rip up the Bux tarmac Smile

I was sitting on the infield this evening while at Birmingham having a practise session, there was an autograss car having a few laps on his own. He sure knew how to slide it around the bend.

jocolor HI SOJO!

The forum WAS down yesterday for a while (I couldn't get onto it), but now appears OK again.

Maybe James was working on it?.....should pre-warn people really.

PostSubject: FACE LIFT FOR LEEWOOD'S WEBSITE   Fri Mar 20, 2009 9:28 am

bounce HI FOLKS!

Just to let you know that LEEWOOD MOTOR CLUB has a great new-looking website, providing lots of details about the club and autograss racing in general, a forum, fixture list and a contacts page.

The site has been produced by one of our members JAMES CLANCY (LM89) who has his own website...clades.co.uk
He has managed to work on our website despite still studying as a student, so many thanks to him; he has done a great job (I think you'll agree!).

So please take a look soon, and perhaps pay one of our meetings a visit during the season (as long as it doesn't clash with a Startrax fixture, of course!)...you'll find the site at:

www.leewoodautograss.co.uk

Cheers,
