Stock Car Racing at BELLE VUE

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP THRILLER.

Manchesters’ BELLE VUE Stadium hosts one it’s premier events on Holiday Monday 26th May with vital World Championship Qualification at stake when the elite BriSCA Formula One Stock Cars return.
600 brake horsepower and 7 litres of American muscle make these the biggest and most awesome race vehicles on the planet! Up to 36 BIG cars on one small oval, with big bumpers back and front designed to be used makes this the Greatest show on Earth. You can literally feel the ground shake!
Monday’s major fixture sees an entry list attracting drivers from across the UK. Reigning World Champion Stuart Smith from Rochdale heads an impressive entry which includes Scottish driver Gordon Moodie who has switched from the smaller F2 race class to Formula One in an attempt to qualify for the World Championship Final at Ipswich in September.
Other to race aces include Paul Harrison, Mark Gilbank and Peter Falding, all from South Yorkshire together with National Champion Frankie Wainman Junior from Keighley.
Local interest lies in Worsley youngster Scott Davids who has taken BriSCA Formula One by storm this year, only his second season and has incredibly moved after a series of excellent scores, into the UK top 16. The Manchester based Davids outfit have invested significantly in developing two brand new race cars over the Winter for their assault on the 2008 season.

As well as the Big League F1 Stock Cars, approaching 60 entries have been received for the popular BriSCA Formula Two Stock Car race division and, with over 30 cars in every race, provide spectacular action!

This event is a 100 car plus Stock Car and Banger Racing extravaganza!

A Bank Holiday Monday would not be complete without a helping of the Kings of Chaos, the real Hell Drivers, Banger Racing where mere survival is an achievement!
Banger racing adds the fun side to racing with no holds barred destruction!

Belle Vue Stadium Manchester is definately the place to be this Bank Holiday Monday if you want awesome adrenalin packed motor sport entertainment.
