3 meetings and by my reckoning 75 WCQR points -

18 Buxton
27 St Day
30 St Columb

The boy is back!

He certainly is.
And in times of financial depression isn't it amazing there were 76 F2's and a bumper crowd on a tuesday night at St Columb. Was mr Moodies and Mr Speaks presence a factor?

No doubt in part - To be fair St Columb is very small however it had definately caught imagination for Unlimited Bangers combined with `last ever' - 11 miles from Newquay - stay at home holidays - great chance for drivers and fans for seven days of racing and seaside !

Promoters always need a dollop of luck now and again!

UPDATE

Moodie added to his total another 10 WCQR points at Taunton plus a GN win [ although points don't count towards WCQR ]

Total points now 85 - I am unofficially informed Moodie is now 9th - which puts him on the 3rd row of a Semi - and still one WCQR round to go at Skegness although unlikely to move much further up the grid.

And - subject to who books in for BV in October out of the top 64 for the British - Moodie WILL be competing F1 in a Gilbank car.

Hopefully, he will be doing a lap of honour before the start with that BIG trophy affraid

By my unofficial reckoning - if things were as they are today without another round at Skeggy the two semis would look like this on the front 3 rows [ totally unofficial !

Semi 1
886-38
606 -559
7-145

Semi 2
871-901
401-854
667-324

Currently Rob is 34th [ around 9th rowish ]

I am sure someone will correct me!

But will 559 bother going to a tarmac semi with the prospect of a tarmac final to follow? He missed his scottish semi last year.

Would think Bert may well do with the WF on his own doorstep this year.
