Just felt I had to say WELL DONE to everyone involved in making tonights meeting one of the best, if not the best meeting this season. The crowd was huge, all the adverts must have paid off, the track was in superb condition and at long last the weather was good.The racing was fab and even Harrison and Gilbank using thier bumpers.

Really, it was a good job it rained or else can you imagine how much dust and moaning there would be on here.

WELL DONE and lets hope that the last meeting of the season in 2 weeks is as successful

A great meeting from Startrax again, the action thick and fast in all formulas.

Well done to Stuart Smith (390) for winning (and later sporting) the silver roof!

Also, good to see an all too-rare visit from Paul Harrison (2), taking a victory in the last race of the night...perhaps tempt him to make more regular appearances at the 'Vue?

An excellent firwork display added to the all-round fine entertainment.

I gave a neighbour and her son a lift down tonight and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

A pretty full stadium (particularly the grandstand area with many pre-reserved seats!). Spectators should have gone home very pleased with tonight's event and, hopefully, bring many of them back again.

Finally, an extra mention to the track crew who provided an exceptionally good racing surface despite the heavy rain earlier in the day, and also made good fence repairs in very quick time.

A very enjoyable meeting.

^^^ Yep I'll echo that! It was a fantastic afternoon/evening. SSJ did what needed to be done and claimed the silver from Frankie, I hope it's only on loan to the Smiths for one year though; it can then come back to Yorkshire and the roof of the 515 car!

Excellent racing and excellent fireworks, hat's off to the track staff and everyone for a really first class meeting. See you all in two weeks!
