Well done Ricky Wilson 502

I just wanted to publicly praise Ricky for his drive in last night's Semi Final at Coventry. 7th (later amended to 9th Suspect

) was a superb result for someone who only found out at Sheffield on Sunday he was in the semi.

Despite starting at the very back he produced a brilliant drive, dodging the trouble and finding the gaps. He would have finished further up the results were it not for a couple of yellow flags, which allowed those behind the opportunity to get on the 502 bumper.

502 for gold!

Just to let you all know results for semi have been supended again till the video has been watched again and hope fully Wilson can be put back to where he finished.Just because he is a white top and other driver shout and moan more loudly he gets dropped two places.Any how on brighter note dose any body know how many white tops have made the world final before ? lol!

I did follow Ricky's pregress throughout the race, to the detriment of what was going on at the front, however, when the first set of 'results' was read out, they did fit with what I thought Ricky had acheived during the race and also who I had seen pass him such as the 21 and 33 cars.

I must admit to raising an eyebrow at the amended result.

The boy did drive well after i gave him a little talk before the big race and still no body come back to the question how many white tops have made the world final grid

Yep the lad did great.

Tealy i think you will find it was my chat before the race that did it. Oh maybe it was pearls of wisdom from Rardy Boy....

In any event a great result for the lad. Unfortunately that means i will be even more on the ale at the Lynn.

From what I saw there was a lot of encouragement from 'Team 502' no doubt helped by the amount of liquid refreshment you lot were helping yourself to.

Sorry Dave, no idea about white tops in the WF. If there have been previous white tops who've made it, is Ricky's place on the grid the highest a white top has acheived??
