Just a reminder, we hope you will support the second of this years events at OWLERTON and a perfect combo for BriSCA fans.

IF you want loads of F1's then this will probably not be the meeting for you - it will we believey end up in the low-mid 20's and, probably a five race programme with the first round of the £1000 Whites & Yellows series on offer - IF we get 27 ish then it will be 2/3rds format with 6 races.

But if you are a fan of action - then this is the place for you!

F2's are coming in steadily and a very good entry of BriSCA Ministox - We really hope you will support Sheffield - it has delivered some superb action over the last 12 months and deserves support.

Please check the startrax news page re a change in pit admissions [ also in Monday's programme ] We are working with the stadium to make Owlerton a friendlier place to spectate. From Sunday you will require a wristband for pit access which you will be able to get from a point behind the Sportsman's Tavern - but you will have to gain access via the stadium turnstiles as opposed to the pit gate. This is an experiment and major step forward. Under the stadium license - which if you think about the following, is common sense, if there was to be a major disaster then a reasonably accurate count of numbers in the stadium is required - hence the reason for admission via the turnstiles.

We are working hard on Sheffield to make it better for stox fans, we have spent quite an amount this year thus far and there is more we want to do, please if you can giv us your support Sunday - at the moment the forecast is excellent!

BriSCA Ministox kick the show off at 1.pm and will be running a 2/3rds format - we aim to finish for around 5.pm ish to get you away - the main F1/F2 programme kicks off at 1.30.pm. TURNSTILES OPEN at 11.am.

Steady, you're almost talking the f1 meeting down!!

Presuming then the 1st f1 race is for whites/yellows?

How about an Autospeed style 2/3 format? Heat 1 whites/yellows only, Heat 2 whites, blues, reds Heat 3 yellows blues and reds.
May keep numbers a little higher for the final? 5 f1 races, good support should be a good afternoon..

I know I'll upset the F1 purists but they were always going to be a 'support' formula for the Tooz on Sunday. With any luck there'll be big grids of the tooz and I know they can deliver some great racing around Owlerton. Looking forward tp the ministox - the kids always deliver a great show.

Like that John - we will trial that - pm me with a `better explanation' and will put it out on the websites!

Think it is a good idea - dependant on final booking list

Currently around 20 F1's booked plus one or two hopefuls - good grids of Ministox and Tooz QR -

Format for Sunday will likely be W&Y and 4 straight races with, hopefully an idea to maintain momentum to the GN.

To be fair given weather, revamped pit area, has all the ingredients of being a good event, hopefully it will be supported.

Given the split in cars it is does not at the moment look practical to use the format suggested by John but will look at for a future meet, possibly July when we can plan and add a bit more to it.

Could I politely ask that while the racing is on, all the tractors and other vehicles are parked close to each other in the middle of the infield?

That would greatly improve the view across the track. cheers

And please don't surprise us with any unexpected additional charges for things that have previously been no cost.

That's not the way to get the fans behind you.
