Just a timely reminder that this event is a 2.pm start [ and not 3.30.pm as in the fixture list ] - please help spread the word. The start time has been brought forward to assist drivers and race fans who may well be travelling long distances so they may get home earlier and therefore, make the trip in the first place - We would like to welcome as many people as possible to Belle Vue for the first of it's two big events in 2009, the second on the 1st November.

Important note for F1 drivers - Whilst initial bookings are offered to the top 60 in the grading list - drivers of ALL grades may apply, no one will be turned away as we are seeking a full sixty car entry - or as close as possible - for this prestige event.

This is also a pivotal NS Shoot Out round.

Please note that this event features BriSCA F1 Stock Cars and Spedeworth 2 Litre Saloons - the latter replacing the original planned White & Yellow F2 element of the programme.

The annual Charity F1 Ladies Race takes place as last event of the day - interested ladies should contact Kay Blackburn to enter.

8 so far of the `top 60' have confirmed their non attendance, mainly tarmac racers.

Bookings are now open to all drivers who should book via Barry Tempest, we expect the Final entry to be between 50 and 60.

Once drivers have confirmed over the next 48 hours we will publish the full `ear;y' list Thursday - but early indications are looking extremely promising!

Yes - Andy Hulse has been a spasmodic racer in recent years - a few interseting names booking in - confirmed entry list already mid forties - we are following up the permanent bookings at the moment - ALL DRIVERS - ALL GRADES WELCOME - We are working hard to achieve 60 or at least get as near as we can - pretty certain we will be 50+ . It is amazing how many lower grade drivers think only the top 60 can book in!

11 days before the event - and still a number of confirmations still to receive, bookings are approaching 50 which is a BV record!

Give your favourite driver a prompt this weekend, particularly if he is a lower grader, let's get the Vue's first 60 car turnout of F1's - awesome!

Bookings will close at 60 as the format is based on 60 cars although we will accept reserves if we are lucky enough to reach that stratosphere!
