Following a meeting of the Oval Racing Council in May, the position with regard to ORC licenced drivers racing at Ringwood Raceway, or any other venue operated by the current management company, remains that they would be refused bookings at future ORC events. This has been agreed and adopted by all ORC promoters. Any driver falling foul of this ruling, must then apply to their individual promoter after a set period of time before future bookings may recommence

Following a meeting of the Oval Racing Council in June, the ongoing matter of membership for Ringwood Raceway has now been further clarified.
The situation has been that drivers who race at Ringwood Raceway, or any other venue operated by the current management, may be refused bookings at future ORCi events.

Since October 2006, the ORCi has had a continued dispute with John Slack, who, whilst fronting the Ringwood Raceway Promotion, had not fulfilled his obligations to the Oval Racing Council. As this matter has now run its course, from 1 July 2007 Ringwood Raceway, will be considered as any other non–ORCi venue.

ORCi Registered drivers who have raced at Ringwood, or who race at Ringwood before 1 July 2007, will be refused ORCi bookings for 8 weeks, from the date that they last raced at Ringwood.

Independent drivers who have raced at Ringwood, or who race at Ringwood before 1 July 2007, may apply for an ORCi licence at any time.

From 1 July 2007, drivers who are ORCi registered or otherwise, who race at Ringwood, will not be penalised for doing so by ORCi members.

This has been agreed and adopted by all ORCi promoters.

ORCi Promoters also remind ORCi licenced drivers that their first consideration should be to race with their own promotion.
