The above list may be subject to minor changes before the event, but if any cancel beforehand, I try and fill the vacancy.

So should be quite a full pit area with the other formulae in attendance.

The saloons and specials are being separated for this event due to the demand for bookings.

Looking forward to this one....should be a cracker!

What do the letters and numbers either side of the name mean?

HELLO! jocolor

CARL

The prefix letters show which club the driver belongs to e.g. ARC=ABRAMS RACING CLUB, LM=LEEWOOD MOTOR CLUB, S..Y=SCARBOROUGH etc

With over 5000 registered drivers, a national numbering system is rather difficult and at autograss events you can cheer on your own club!

The "C" numbers I've added show which class of car. Normally in grass track racing, the cars race against others in their own class as far as possible. Classes 1 to 7 are "saloons", and classes F600, 8 to 10 are open-wheeled specials. At this event, classes 3 and over will be racing, whereas at Buxton and Belle Vue at Xmas, the smaller classes will also be in attendance.

As you can see from the entry list, several numbers would be duplicated, save for the club letters.

...that's why Steph is asking if I'm in the commentary box for the night (to help with identification as well as commentary!!) cyclops

STEPH

Yes, Steph, don't panic, I'll be close to you in t'box to lend a hand. geek
