| A BIG Thank you to EVERYONE involved in this event - IN PARTICULAR THE GLADIATORS - Every driver a TRUE GLADIATOR and star performer!
Stock Car fans do not realise the cost and prepration of these cars - up to £500, often to complete a matter of yards!
BIGGEST CROWD AT SHEFFIELD SINCE 2003! Bigger than B/H, previous BoB events or F1 Semi Finals.
Great atmosphere and after a 12 car wrecking session on the home straight, EVERY driver got out and shook hands with each other smiling - to applause from the crowd!!!1
Great atmosphere, Banger Racing did itself proud - THANK YOU.
To those who couldn't get access to the back straight BECAUSE IT WAS FULL - over 1500 people were in the drivers and mechanics area!!!!! our apologies, however, the stadium management have promised to work with us to review what can be done for next year.
STEAMER has announced on Ovalchat plans for a 2 litre BoB equivalent on Ovalchat and is gathering support for a 90 car 2 litre team session, have a look at the thread and let him know your views.
A big thank you to ALL at Brampton who supported the event, give Jane and Mickey your support during the summer, they are providing some great racing and a brilliant track surface and there are some big meetings on the such as the Big Kev Memorial - great place for a summer Sunday afternoon starting NEXT SUNDAY at 1.pm - Pay them a visit and check out the Brampton website for fixture details.
The Final thanks in particular goes to the `Pinks' Teams TSB who provided massive support for the meeting, we are PROUD and priviliged to host the `Totty' Memorial and the Grand Parade was superb and quite humbling. SAME SUNDAY, SAME TIME 2009 - SHEFFIELD BATTLE OF BRITAIN 2009, make a date in your diary NOW. |

| Evan I have to say it was a great meeting in more ways than one.
I don't normally watch the bangers but the crowd on the back straight we were having to laugh at them laughing at what was going on on the track. It was amazing.
And to top it all my baby bro got a fantastic set of results with a 2nd, 1st and a 4th, pity its mean absolutly nowt, but hey it was a good day. _________________ 362 RACING updated 13 July 2008

| You mean Dave Brennan that tried to put Dave away but missed he was expecting it as soon as they passed but they did the right think and kept it on the track, not a bad word or snide comment passed in the pits. I mean Dave only gave him a love tap to push him wide the fence must have drawn him in _________________ 362 RACING updated 13 July 2008
